Last weekend, in beautiful late-summer weather, the sixth round of the 2006 FIA European Truck Racing Cup was Held at Zolder, Belgium, attended by lots of spectators. After the success at his home circuit, Adam Lacko wanted to add to his tally even a better result in Belgium. Last weekend, almost sixty thousand spectators came to the Autodrom Most racing circuit to watch the contests of Europe's best racing truck drivers. Adam Lacko delighted not only all of these spectators. After a break of more than two months, which was caused partly by the injury of his arm and partly by the summer pause between the races, he returned in great form. Right away in the first cup race he claimed the second place, behind his rival Antonio Albacete, of Spain, attaining his best placing of this season...

After the last event of the Česká pojišťovna Škoda Octavia Cup, Adam Lacko was examined in hospital. A diagnosis was made which established that his right forearm had not been broken, but seriously bruised. Adam suffered this injury shortly after the start of the first Octavia Cup race on Sunday. The doctors assume that he will not be able to take part in a race for at least two weeks. Unfortunately, the fourth round of the European Truck Racing Cup is held within this period...
