The INTERNET EXPRES VITTO Prima Team experienced a really not very successful weekend event in Misano, Italy. In Saturday's free practice sessions, the team were seeking to find out the optimum set-up of the truck, and Adam Lacko came eighth in the first qualifying session. Afterwards, in the race, however, he went through several fierce battles and had to retire in the end, after each of the two external tyres of the rear-axle failed.
Sunday's qualifying session turned out a bit better for Lacko: he came seventh. Afterwards, in the main race, he claimed the sixth place. Unfortunately, he was not included in the standings because of the non-permitted overspeeding detected by the stewards. After the races, Adam Lacko said: 'I really was not very successful in Misano. Definitely, I am not satisfied with the fact that I gained only seven points for the team. In particular, the Saturday races did not turn out well. On Sunday, I was doing better, and I believe that there was a chance of attaining even a better placing. However, even the Sunday races brought fierce collisions that I was not able to avoid, for example, that one with Ross Garrett. Consequently, the two Buggyra trucks got ahead of us in the qualifying, and I only took the seventh place in the end. I believe that we will manage to put the truck perfectly right by the next round of the races, which takes place in Albacete, Spain. I hope that everything will turn out better.' The next round in a week's time is Adam Lacko's first opportunity ever to experience the Albacete circuit.
