Stanislav Matějovský's team took advantage of the fact that almost all the team's racing vehicles were at the Most circuit, and carried out a number of test drives on Monday, 28 August 2006, immediately after the races held within the 2006 MATADOR CZECH TRUCK PRIX weekend event.
The team's technical manager Roman Seidl said after the testing: 'In particular, we were testing the MAN race truck. The reason for this was the Good Year tyres of the new series, which were used for the first time just in the fifth round of the FIA European Truck Racing Cup in Most. The objective of the testing was to gather the maximum possible amount of experience with these tyres before the last three racing events, which are held towards the end of the season in Zolder, Jarama and Le Mans respectively.'
In the course of the testing event, several drivers made use of the team's offer to try some of the racing vehicles. So, Štefan Rosina or Jiří Janák, for example, could be seen at the wheel of the truck for a moment, while Jirka Skula tried the Octavia race car. Also, the opportunity to drive Adam Lacko' truck aroused great interest of Hungarian drivers Szobi Balasz and Jobbagy Ákos, who are well known from the Dakar Rally.
