A section of the INTERNET EXPRES Prima Team visited the Vallelunga racing circuit in Italy in the second half of this week. In climatic conditions that were more favourable than those in this country these days, drivers Michal Matějovský and Miroslav Forman joined the mechanics to carry out the adjustment of the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA car. However, the team's attention was paid in particular to the tests of the Alfa Romeo 156 S 2000, a car that will be driven by Jiří Janák in selected FIA WTCC races this year. Jiří Janák took advantage of this testing event held in Italy and, besides acquainting himself with the car, he also met the La Torre team, of Italy, which will be taking care of the Alfa car in the course of the races.
'Our objective in these tests was to accomplish the fine-tuning of the car before the FIA WTCC official tests, which will be held at the Monza circuit as early as at the beginning of the next week. Also, we wanted to gain some time for possible minor repairs. Jirka Janák, who is not only acquainting himself with the car, but also getting to know the Italian team gradually, covered more than forty laps of four series at the Vallelunga circuit, attaining better and better times,' said the satisfied technical manager Roman Seidl after coming back from Italy.
