- 13. 5. 2006, Sedloňov -The children of the Children's Home in Sedloňov in the 'Orlické hory' mountains spent an agreeable Saturday afternoon with the Miss Czech Republic, Miss Taťána Kuchařová, who decided to donate a part of her winnings gained in the 'Miss Czech Republic 2006' competition for charity purposes, and handed over the gifts to the children of the Sedloňov Children's Home. The Miss Czech Republic of the year 2006 was joined by the director of the branch of the 'Komerční banka' bank in the town of Nové Město nad Metují, Mr Hlaváček, who brought for the children small presents from the KB bank. The framework of the interesting Saturday afternoon was completed by Stanislav Matějovský, the European Truck Racing Cup Champion of the year 2001, who brought for the children in Sedloňov one of the contemporary racing vehicles of the INTERNET EXPRES Prima Team, that is, the car with which his son Michal is contesting this year's Česká pojišťovna - Škoda Octavia Cup series. When the program for the children was finished, Mr František Veverka, director of the Children's Home, who was satisfied with the event, said: 'It is hard to believe, but there was Christmas for our children already on this Saturday afternoon, straight away in the middle of the spring. They received presents from the Miss Czech Republic of this year and from the KB bank's branch in the town of Nové Město nad Metují. And, all of them could discuss with Taťána Kuchařová the backstage of the Miss Czech Republic competition and her plans for the future. Moreover, we have been promised that some of the children will be able to experience one of the Championship races of this season with Stanislav Matějovský's team right at the racing circuit.' |
