- 9. 8. 2006, Most -On Tuesday, 8 August, the racing team, almost in its complete line-up, moved from Hradec Králové to the Autodrom Most circuit, where this year's penultimate racing event of the Česká pojišťovna Škoda Octavia Cup and the races of the International Racing Circuit Championship of the Czech Republic will take place within the framework of the 2006 Race Car Challenge weekend event, which begins on Friday, 11 August. On Wednesday, 9 August, the "Clients' Day" event of the company Eurotel was staged in the INTERNET EXPRES Prima Team's facilities and at the Autodrom Most circuit. Drivers Adam Lacko, Michal Matějovský, and Juraj Šedivý talked with the visitors to the "Clients' Day" event about the backstage of motor races. Afterwards, they gave the guests a ride in racing vehicles ranging from the Škoda Pick-Up and Octavia race cars to the MAN TG 410A race truck, which was, no doubt, the largest and most interesting vehicle of those involved. After the rides with racing drivers, the visitors to the "Clients' Day" event were offered the opportunity to drive some of the racing cars. When the event was over, one of the visitors said: 'It was a fantastic feeling, to be able to try the well-known race track at the wheel of a race car. Moreover, I am glad that, at Mr Patera's school for racing drivers, we have had the opportunity to gain some extra knowledge of racing and of the method of race car driving. And, the visit to the 'Polygon' test track was perhaps even more important for the driver's practice; we tried there the way of driving of a standard production car on different road surface types in various situations, including the simulated conditions of heavy rain and aquaplaning.' |
