Introduction: ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPOSRT a.s.

Activities of the company ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT a.s. Hradec Králové are aimed at the area of motor sport. The company is lead by Stanislav Matějovský, an experienced former racing driver with 27 years of professional career. He contested kart races, automobile circuit races and hill-climb races, and rally competitions. His activities also included the FIA European Truck Racing Cup; in 2001, with the Tatra truck, he won the title of European Champion in the Super Race Truck category. In 2002, Stanislav Matějovský ended his career of a racing driver, and the truck races were undertaken by young driver Adam Lacko, who switched to the MAN truck of the Race Truck category (ČESKÝ TELECOM Prima Team) in 2004. In that year of the races, in the strong competition of European race truck drivers, he claimed the third place.

Starting in 2005, the company's activities were expanded within the framework of the INTERNET EXPRES Prima Team project. The team's first-priority driver Adam Lacko, this time with the Alfa Romeo 156 Super 2000 racing car, became the first Czech racing driver to take part in selected races of the FIA World Touring Car Championship. Moreover, he joined the few Czech drivers contesting the FIA GT car races. Adam Lacko was not the only driver of the INTERNET EXPRES Prima Team in 2005: Michal Matějovský, Miroslav Forman, Jan Urban and Juraj Šedivý represented the team in the ČPŠOC (Česká pojišťovna Škoda Octavia Cup), in Division D4 of the Championship of the Czech Republic, and in the Divinol Tourenwagen Cup series while Jiří Forman contested the International Karting Championship of the Czech Republic and the Karting Championship of the Czech Republic. Our team will continue in the same way in 2006.

In the forthcoming season, Adam Lacko will be particularly concentrating on two racing series: with a new MAN truck, he will contest all the races of the 2006 FIA European Truck Racing Cup and, furthermore, he will be taking part in the 2006 Česká pojišťovna Škoda Octavia Cup series. Other drivers, too, will be representing the team, or will be supported by the team, and the team's participation in the FIA World Touring Car Championship (FIA WTCC) will also be ensured: Jiří Janák, the winner of the last year of the Octavia Cup, will be driving our Alfa Romeo 156 Super 2000 car on the tracks of the world circuits. In domestic races, successful karting driver Filip Albrecht will appear; he will be driving the Škoda Octavia car in the Octavia Cup. And, experienced Jiří Nykodým will join Stanislav Lepka to drive the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA car.

The team's facilities and publicity

The teams headquarters, offices and workshops are being continuously developed on the premises of the company SMTC a.s., Koutníkova 272, Hradec Králové. Relying on the stable line-up of managers and mechanics, the team has created the facilities and conditions for the racing driver's fitness training. The team employs its own transportation vehicles both for the truck team and for the race cars, including the high-quality technical equipment and facilities for mechanics.

Besides the preparation of top-class racing vehicles, the team offers the opportunity to utilize the high-level facilities for the team's partners. For this purpose, a truck train has been constructed, which can accommodate, in the completely erected state, up to 120 guests.

Furthermore, the team puts great emphasis on publicity, both with respect to its sports activities and with respect to the team's partners. This has been proved by the fact that the team is among those best known in the Czech Republic and by the fact that we are the team with the most frequent publicity in all the mass media types. We assume that we will be producing our own programmes again in 2006. These programmes will be broadcast by Czech TV stations; this will remain unchanged.

Also, the team's asset is the first-class facilities at the racing circuit of the company AUTODROM MOST a.s. (www.autodrom-most.cz) in the town of Most. We closely cooperate with this circuit, and most of the team's test and practice activities and events for the team's partners in the Czech Republic are held there.
