Porsche Carrera Cup went on in Le Mans |
- 15. 10. 2006 - Le Mans -Last weekend, Adam Lacko participated in another racing event of the 2006 Porsche Carrera Cup series (www.racecam.de) with the FUCHS Star-Moto Racing team, of Poland. This time, the race was held at the Le Mans circuit, France, contested by 29 drivers from numerous countries. Among them, Adam Lacko took a fine 18th position of the starting grid in the Saturday timed practice. On Saturday, Adam Lacko said: 'In the course of the free practice session on Friday, we were seeking the proper car set-up for the track of the Le Mans circuit, and I think that we managed rather well. I kept improving the times, even in the timed practice.' Not only the Friday and Saturday practice sessions, but also the Sunday race were held in the fine sunny weather. After starting from the ninth row of the grid, Lacko gradually moved up to take the excellent 14th place at the finish line. The next race is held on 29 October 2006 at the Hockenheim circuit, Germany. But Lacko will not be able to take part because, at that time, he is coming back to Le Mans again to contest the last event of the FIA European Truck Racing Cup with the MAN TG 410 A truck. |
