The Bohemia Racing Team's manager, Petr Najman, and the Team's drivers Michal Matějovský and Josef Král met motor-sport journalists in one of the lounges of the Hilton Hotel in Prague in the afternoon on Thursday, 16 April. Each of the two racing drivers is involved in a different racing category. Michal Matějovský, who concentrates on touring cars, will contest the SEAT León Eurocup series this year again, while Josef Král, specialized in formula racing, is to take part in the prestigious Formula Master international series. Most of the races to be attended by the two drivers will take place within the FIA World Touring Car Championship (FIA WTCC) weekend racing events. Moreover, two races, with Josef Král on the grid, will be staged within Formula 1 Grand Prix events.

At the meeting with journalists, the two drivers presented not only their race cars, but also their plans and objectives for the upcoming season. For Josef Král, the season begins in the middle of May, at Pau, France, while Michal Matějovský's first action takes place two weeks later, at Valencia, Spain. Motor-sport fans in the Czech Republic will be able to see both drivers at the Brno Masaryk Circuit at the weekend from 20 to 21 June. In the period before the respective season-opening races, Michal Matějovský and Josef Král will focus on the completion of the series of tests at circuits in the Czech Republic and abroad, which, so far, saw the two drivers clocking the best times in their respective categories, suggesting good results for the upcoming season for each of them. This assumption is also supported by the fact that Josef Král set a record-breaking lap time at the Valencia circuit in December 2008.

Besides the spring testing events, both Michal Matějovský and Josef Král, together with other drivers of the BRT team, will take part in the opening action of the International Racing Circuit Championship of the Czech Republic, which takes place next weekend, on 25 and 26 April.
