The International Championship Winner Michal Matějovský thanked the City of Hradec Králové

On the occasion of the HC VCES Hradec Králové - Znojmo ice-hockey Premiere League match, which Hradec Králové won by 3:2, racing driver Michal Matějovský thanked the City of Hradec Králové for the long-time support.

Michal Matějovský, who has won the 2000cc category of the International Racing Circuit Championship of the Czech Republic this year, donated to the City of Hradec Králové a painting to remember his fine achievement. The painting was received by Mr Martin Soukup, the Deputy of the City Mayor. 'Racing driver Michal Matějovský has been representing the City of Hradec Králové in an excellent manner, and I would like to thank him. I am glad that the City of Hradec Králové has helped him and other sportsmen to achieve their excellent results,' said Mr Martin Soukup, who, among other responsibilities, has been in charge of the Hradec Králové City's sports development projects and activities for the period of the last 8 years.
