Matějovský Patron of Hradec Králové's CFR Team

Last week, Michal Matějovský became a patron of the Hradec Králové's CFR Team (www.cfrteam.cz) that will take part in Formula 1 in Schools competition. "It is a unique world-wide educational contest for fifteen-to-nineteen-year-old secondary school student teams whose task is to design, construct, test, fabricate and race with own formula 1 CO2 -powered model," informed Michal Matějovský, who already worked with a successful student team from the Czech Republic two years ago; together they qualified for the world final in Singapore.

This interesting technology challenge includes an oral presentation of realized work, completed with a presentation of construction documentation documenting complete design, construction, and fabrication of a racing model. Races are held on both regional (Bohemia, Moravia) and national levels followed by a world championship. A prize winner team is awarded scholarship to a London university, subject: motor vehicle engineer.
