BRT Gets Ready in Brno for The Sprint Season Final Round

- 20. 9. 2012, Brno, CZE -

The traditional racing weekend called the Masaryk Racing Days - Autumn Prix is held on the racing circuit close to Brno, and is this year's final event of the Czech national sprint championship in circuit car racing. Who will not be among the missing is the Bohemia Racing Team with the pilot Michal Matějovký, who is to finish his two-year project with the most advanced technology, the Audi A4 DTM vehicle.

Michal, who succeeded in his racing debut behind the truck steering wheel in Most three weeks ago, managed to re-direct onto the top touring car that has great aerodynamic features. What is more, he, the mechanics and engineers were thoroughly tuning the chassis for the rugged track during the free practices on Thursday, so he feels completely ready for the Friday's qualification and both weekend sprints.

"I tested quite a lot here in spring before the season. Although I could not enter all sprints because of the term collisions, I am definitely going to enjoy this final event," said Michal on Thursday. "And I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to all team for the perfect and professional cooperation. I have gained a lot during these two seasons; I also feel grateful to Milan Maděryč who allowed me to get this experience. It is really the car-racing university," added the racing driver.

The Friday's half-hour qualification for both sprints of cars with a cubic capacity more than 2 litres starts twenty minutes after the noon. The first race on Saturday is at 11.10 a.m., the second at 3.35 p.m..
