Křenek Motorsport Team's Drivers Leading Friday Test

26. 4. 2013, Slovakia Ring, Slovakia -

The racing weekend of the FIA ETCC Championship in Slovakia began with two one-hour testings; one name out of the Křenek Motorsport teams'drivers always appeared on the list of the fastest times. In the first testing it was Petr Fulín who set the fastest time per a lap 2:15.334, and Michal Matějovský was clocked at 2:16.547 in Testing 2.

"I feel a bit nervous despite the good time in Testing 1 because of two reasons: one is a defective lambda probe due to my car has poorer fuel mixture. We think we have solved it but we are not sure; another is 41kg of ballast I got to my car for the results in Monza. It's a lot of load I feel any time I put on brake, and while driving off a turn. It's a six-kilometre-long track, with long straights where any extra kilo I can tell," said Petr Fulín who had decided to save the machine therefore did not enter Testing 2.

Michal Matějovský commented on the day saying: "We troubled in the morning with the car set-up as it was slightly understeer. It got better in the afternoon, so I can feel satisfied. A measure point, however, is Petr's time, so I would like to speed up by that half a second."The ETCC programme on the Slovakia Ring continues on Saturday starting with a Free Practice Session (at 11.45 a.m.), followed by the Qualifying (2.45 p.m.) when the positions on the grid in the start line-up for Race 1 on Sunday will be decided about.
