Round 2 of the world's series FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC) was held last Saturday in a Belgium town of SPA. Neither a Czech team Lotus-Praga (www.lotus-lmp2.com) with two Lotus Praga T128 LMP2s (start numbers 31 and 32), led by companies No. 31: Kevin Weed (USA) - Vitantonio Liuzzi (ITA) - James Rossiter (GBR), and No. 32: Jan Charouz (CEZ) - Thomas Holzer (GER) - Dominik Kraihamer (AUT), missed the six-hour race. The weather was sunny, and the Czech team deserved the attention it had attracted. Being up in strong competition both cars finished the race coming in seventh (No. 32) and eight (No. 32) places.

After the race the team's pilot Dominik Kraihamer summed up: "We feel satisfied as both cars finished the race. We significantly pushed forward the setup during the weekend, but also collected loads of important pieces of data about new Lotus Praga T128 LMP2 cars. The team did a good job, and I want to thank them for everything." The Czech driving pilot, Jan Charouz, adds: "In comparison with a previous race in Silverstone, we were in better shape here in Spa-Francorchamps, and the team deserve thanks for their hard job. We must remember it's a brand new car and despite petty problems that came up during the race we made finish the race. It's important now to clock up as many kilometres as possible. No dramatic moments occurred while I was driving and everything was going smooth. Thanks to the refined reliability we can focus on the car setup and speedup for the rest of the season. I believe that we'll move ahead in the next round in Le Mans also thanks to today's race."

Michal Matėjovský, who was among the team Lotus-Praga's guests, said after the race: "Both the level of the races and the teams' facility, and the interest the races held for spectators surprised me. It's the first time I've visited such an event and I'll be glad to come again."
