Kuchařová and Matějovský Christening Czechoslovak Motorsport 2014 Calendar

The so-called Steffenhaus hosted on Thursday, 28 November 2013, the event to christen the company Czechoslovak Motorsport's new wall calendar for the year 2014. Created by the company FERMATA a.s. from the town of Čelákovice, this wall calendar got christened in attendance of Ms Polešovská from a Nursing Home; Mr Petr Chmelík, Deputy Mayor of the town of Hostinné; Livia Kuchařová, a singer; and Michal Matějovský, a racing driver.

"In summer, we handed out some presents to a few families from Hostinné and Rudník that had been struck by floods in June. It was that time when we agreed with a charity worker Ms Polešovská, who also works in the Nursing Home in Hostinné, that we would come around to find out how the reconstruction was going on after that devastating floods, but also that we would hand some small souvenirs relating to our motorsport season. Since we have recently published a new wall calendar for 2014, we decided to use that occasion to christen it in attendance of those kind hosts, who were also given first copies. Who also helped us was Livie Kuchařová, the singer who had been our guest at the FIA ETCC races in Brno," explains Michal Matějovský and goes on: "Hopefully, our small presents were a bit of help for those families. I'm happy to hear that all of them are back in their homes, and a major portion of many buildings and houses have already been restored before this coming winter."

The meeting was an informal one; the great atmosphere and enjoyment was enhanced by that environment. The Stefanhaus is over two-hundred-year-old, historic building, a part of the former Steffans Brothers' weaving mill. In the first half of the 1920s, the building became the town's property, and was renewed and rebuilt by the town of Hostinné in 1996-1998. It is where the Nursing Home is situated today.
