Michal Matějovský In Photographs Documenting FIA ETCC Round at Le Castellet

The opening round of the FIA ETCC 2014 finished on the Paul Ricard circuit at Le Castellet last weekend. The field included nearly thirty racing drivers. It had been a rookie race for one of the Křenek Motorsport team's racing drivers, Michal Matějovský coming from Hradec Králové, who took third place in the Qualifying session and would bring points for one fourth place, and one eight place in the cup races on Sunday, as while attacking the second position in Race 2 he had to go to pits due to technical reasons, and after coming back on the track and pursuit drive he came eight. The races were seasoned with changeable weather, the track was wet, therefore there was no lack of dramatic moments. To illustrate the round we are publishing photographs taken by Petr Frýba.
