Matějovský and Fulín Signing New Driver's Agreements

- 20. 5. 2014, Prague, CZE -

Likewise last year, the Křenek Motorsport team's drivers Michal Matějovský and Petr Fulín have taken part in the ceremony where racing drivers, who represent the Czech Republic in European or world's motorsports competitions, signed their agreements. The signing ceremony has taken place in the Autoclub of the Czech Republic's conference hall under the patronage of the Federation of Automobile Sports AČR. Also an array of racing drivers, who had satisfied nomination criteria for representing the Czech Republic, took part in the event.

During a meeting with motor racing drivers led by FAS General Secretary, Radovan Novák, also Roman Ječmínek, the President of the AČR gave his speech. Michal Matějovský said after the meeting: "I feel happy that I and Petr have secured the nomination again. These days we are taking the first and - me - fourth places in the FIA ETCC overall classification, and as the Czech Republic's racing drivers, we are leading the Nations' Cup competition. However, there are three racing weekends that will be decisive for the final standings. From the perspective of the championship course, the situation is much like last year; the difference lies in the absence of races on our home circuit in Brno. There is a round in Belgian Spa Francorchamps instead. I've been already given opportunity to practise there this year, so I do hope I'll use the experience I gained there in the race that is held in about a month's time. It'll be no late but this week when we'll be racing on the circuit at Salzburgring in Austria, and the season finishes in the autumn in Pergusa on Sicily. We are sure to do our bests for a good result."
