Friday in France Saw Two Tests

-26. 6. 2015, Paul Ricard, France-

Held on the remarkable French circuit named after its founder, an eccentric beverage tycoon, Paul Ricard, were two one-hour Tests, which had been the first to test the quality and readiness of the racing drivers in the European Touring Car Cup. Not far from usual, there were two drivers from the Prague team, Křenek Motorsport, Petr Fulín and Michal Matějovský.

Both of the pilots agree that the conditions this year are more convenient than ones last year: "The circuit is nice, indeed, and the surrounding scenery superb; the sun and temperature over 30°C just emphasise that. I'd had a problem with shifting to fifth gear in Test 1 at the beginning, so we had to replace the gearbox instead of finishing the test. It was okay in Test 2, and the car went perfectly. I think the times we set are promising, and I believe we'll be able to get ahead tomorrow," said Michal Matějovský after the Tests on the Paul Ricard circuit on Friday (Times: Test 1: 1:39.653; Test 2: 1:38.142, now at the top in TC2 category).

Scheduled for Saturday are 30-minute Practice Session at 9:45 a.m. and 30-minute Qualifying Session at 12:15 p.m.
