Bronze in Shanghai Going To Forman

- 14. 9. 2015, Shanghai, China -

Taking place on a racing circuit in Shanghai, China, The China Truck Racing Championship went on last weekend by Round 2. Even though the Czech racing drivers did not win now, unlike they had in the previous round, yet they were able to face tough competition. Miroslav Forman had opportunity to drive his truck on water since it was raining there. He was able to get used to it, so in the time practice session he would qualify for the super pole. On Sunday, he always got the third place! Now, after four races in China, he is taking the third place together with Adam Lacko and one Chinese driver.

"I didn't go in one single free practice on the first day, since air pipe had cracked. However mechanics were able to repair it over the night. Practices on Saturday were on water... I was struggling a bit as I'm only getting experience in driving on water. First, I thought I would finish in the last place, however, I was finally moving around the sixth position. The timed practice in the afternoon was on the dry; I took the fifth place and qualified for the super pole, where I finished also in the fifth place," depicted the situation at the beginning of the racing weekend Miroslav Forman.

Instantly after the Start in Race 1 Forman passed his nearest rival and was moving ahead in the fourth position behind the third Adam Lacko. Adam won through to the second place in another lap; Forman had moved one place forward in the home straight so was the third to cross the finish line. Forman started Race 2 from the second row. However, there was something wrong with the truck engine. "I had to fight my rival's attacks off all the time. During the last lap one of them passed me, luckily it was in a yellow-flagged section, so I was finally classified third," depicted Race 2 in Shanghai Miroslav Forman and went on: "The third place went to our team, too, although my team mate had had an accident in Race 1 and did not enter Race 2. Me and Adam Lacko are taking the third place together with a Chinese competitor in the standings at the moment. The second top placed driver's margin over us is just two points; well, the third, final round in Beijing at the beginning of October will be interesting, I guess."
