The Mayor, Mr Otakar Divíšek, met with racing driver Michal Matějovský at the ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT company's headquarters before the FIA ETCC event at Adria, Italy - 16. 10. 2007, Hradec Králové -

On 16 October, in the afternoon, the Mayor of the City of Hradec Králové, Mr Otakar Divíšek, visited the headquarters of the company ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT a.s. in Hradec Králové. Mr Divíšek showed a great interest in the latest results achieved by racing driver Michal Matějovský. In particular, the ŠKODA - ČESKÁ POJIŠŤOVNA CHALLENGE racing event for Octavia cars was discussed. This contest took place last weekend at the Brno Masaryk Circuit within the framework of the A1 Grand Prix series' event, and Michal Matějovský, with his Octavia car, attained a great success there by winning both races.

Michal Matějovský informed Mr Divíšek about the team's program for the upcoming period. The main item is the intense preparation for the FIA European Touring Car Cup. This is the third year of this prestigious series and, after Vallelunga, Italy, and Estoril, Portugal, Europe's top racing circuit drivers will meet at the Adria circuit, near Venice, Italy. Matějovský, with the Alfa Romeo S 2000, and the team will set out on the journey on Thursday, 25 October 2007.
