Presentation: CZECHOSLOVAK MOTORSPORT

Activities of the company CZECHOSLOVAK MOTORSPORT Hradec Králové are aimed at the area of motor sport. The company is lead by Stanislav Matějovský, an experienced former racing driver with 27 years of professional career, who participated in karting contests, circuit and hill-climb races, and in other types of motor races, in particular, in the FIA European Truck Racing Cup series, which saw him win the title of the European Truck Racing Champion in 2001, with a Tatra truck.

Since 2005, the company's activities have expanded within the framework of the INTERNET EXPRES Prima Team project, or, at a later stage, within the framework of the O2 Prima Team project, which focused on racing circuit events both in the Czech Republic and abroad. The company will follow this trend in 2007. Michal Matějovský, within the limits arising from the schedule of the races in the Czech Republic, at the wheel of the Alfa Romeo 156 S 2000 car, will take part in several of the 'ADAC - Procar - Serie' racing events held in Germany for cars of the WTCC category. Other drivers will contest the races of the German series Divinol Tourenwagen Cup, while the International Championship of Czech Republic and the 2007 Czech Insurance Company Škoda Octavia Cup series are the most important projects in the sphere of races attended by the Team within the Czech Republic.

Objectives for the year 2007

As far as the races abroad are concerned, we aim to gain further experience, and our drivers will endeavour to win recognition in international contests. In the WTCC-category ADAC-Procar-Serie events, Michal Matějovský will aim at podium positions. And, the drivers involved in the DIVINOL Tourenwagen Cup series in Germany should also be capable of winning the top placings.

The young kart drivers, too, should gather the valuable international experience. Jiří Forman and Radim Maxa will be contesting the Parilla 100 category, and Sebastian Kalvach, the Parilla 60. The goal for Jiří Forman is a top-ten placing in either of the two British competitions, that is, either in the MSA Series or in the BRDC Stars of Tomorrow series (each of them is contested by about fifty drivers). With respect to other contests, Jirka Forman will try to qualify for the European Championship in Italy or to take one of the top ten positions of the final standings of the Easy Kart International World Finals in Italy (more than 100 drivers from more than ten countries). Radim Maxa is to contest a top-five placing in the Easy Kart series and, moreover, a top-ten placing of the Easy Kart International World Finals in Italy.

Concerning the International Championship of Czech Republic and the 2007 Czech Insurance Company Škoda Octavia Cup, the team's drivers will be fighting for the victory in each of these series. The definite objective for this year is to win the Octavia Cup, both in the teams' category and in the drivers' category. The same objectives apply to the category up to 2000 cc of Division 4 of the International Racing Circuit Championship of the Czech Republic.
