Forman Comes Up Trumps By Win in Vysoké Mýto

- 30. 9. 2012, Vysoké Mýto, CZE -

After the series of this year's British championship rounds, and the recent fairly successful ROTAX EUROCHALLENGE round in Salbris, France (4 place in race, 8 place in total ranking), Jiří Forman "nipped out" to the home ground to win the last round of the Karting Championship of the Czech Republic held last weekend on the racing circuit in Vysoké Mýto.

"We are taking the round here as testing and practising," said Forman and added: "I am taking part in the final ROTAX OPEN round held in Zuere, Spain, the last October's weekend. This year, it is the only chance to qualify for the ROTAX MAX GRAND FINALS held at the turn of November in Protimao nearby Algarve in Spain."

Jiří Forman convinced all of the present in Vysoké Mýto that his ambitions to gain good results in Spain are valid. He was always on the top, and got one first and one second place in two Sundays's races, scored points, so that he was a total winner of the last Czech championship round. "However, it was not easy. Racing drivers like Fulín, Běžel, Paprskář, but many more seemed tough rivals, but now, it was a flu and cold, which I have been suffering since Saturday's night, that were the bitter rival to me. I am happy about the win, naturally. The kart was doing as well as the Gregor Racing team, who I would like to thank for all they've done, and hope it will work like now in Spain," said in Vysoké Mýto tired but content Jiří Forman.
