Matějovský and the Buggyra Team Arriving in Most

- 30. 08. 2013, Most, CZE -

The end of the school holidays in the Czech Republic has been devoted to the races in Most for decades. The most successful Czech team in history, Buggyra International Racing System, is on full alert. The technical director of the Buggyra, Robin Dolejš, talks about a relaxed atmosphere prevailing in the team: "After a good Sunday in Smolenks, me and David figured that no dramatic changes are necessary to be made. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean we're gonna give up the development." Unlike years before, August for the team has ever been the time for relaxing and gathering strength for the end of a season.

The race on the domestic circuit is a double go for this team, the one all-Czech. What is going to play a role are pits traditionally designed to look magnificently. According to the director of logistics, Petr Marek, the team's marquee will accommodate over three hundred visitors during the weekend. "We regard Most as one of a few places in the season we can express our thanks to the key partners and sponsors. That is to all who make it possible for us to enter the races," says the team's manager, Jan Kalivoda, who classifies all guests as "falling into an extremely important" category. "I do hope the Buggyra will be highly visible during all racing weekend - as usual, by the way. Most is invaluable marketing platform for us."

The media are keenly interested in this event. David Vršecký and the Buggyra's test driver, Michal Matějovský, gave interviews about the forthcoming races in Most on the radio station Frekvence 1's programme hosted by Diana Kobzanová on Tuesday, and on the TV Nova's programme "Breakfast with Nova" on Friday, in which both drivers invited listeners and watchers to the weekend's European championship round in Most. It is David Vršecký who is most expected to make the team visible. He would hate to leave Most without a cup. "It seems impossible to forget the last season. I was supposed to win as early as on Saturday, but two laps - more or less - before the finish, I got on an oil spill, so Albacete got then in front of me. I won the race on Sunday, but it was broken off due to a sort of outsider whose car caught fire. I've got nothing against adrenaline, but hopefully it'll be peaceful this year," said David Vršecký.

In the programme, the driver talked about supposed race progress in Most: "Yesterday, we heard that a permanent pilot 2 of the Buggyra, Juri Yegorov, might not enter the race because of health problems. I'll see how it's gonna on, but I might be in the whole weekend event. It's just a fairly fresh piece of news, all is too quick, but if it's going to be like this I'll do my best for as good result as possible," said in the TV NOVA's programme Michal Matějovský.
