Křenek Motorsport Team Drivers Testing on Autodrom in Brno

The final racing event of this year's FIA European Touring Car Cup 2013 series is held on the racing circuit in Brno in three week's time. The Czech drivers are going to fight for the top positions in the Nations' Cup, but mainly in the Single-Make Trophy standings in which Petr Fulín will definitely intend to defend his leading position, and Michal Matějovský will attack the third position.

The team's boss, Josef Křenek, evaluated the testing: "Today, we've had cars test of run. The tests performance was standard, however, we had to finish Petr Fulín's car testing a bit earlier, also because of a higher number of drivers on the track. Besides a set-up, we also tested brake discs and pads in Michal Matějovský's car."

"The track in Brno is fine for me, I've known it for long, and I'm happy I could also test the BMW 320Si I've been taking part in the FIA ETCC this year, here on this track for the first time. After four racing events abroad, the oncoming round is gonna be on home ground in Brno; it's just the right grand finale this season will end with; I'm truly looking forward to it," said after the testing Michal Matějovský.

"The testing had been planned to check the run, and I think we made set a good time, so we may feel well-prepared for the final racing event," Petr Fulín evaluated in brief the course of the Thursday's testing.

"The last race of this year's European championship, FIA ETCC, I'm entering is gonna be my farewell race, therefore I want to prepare myself properly to finish my sporting career as best as I'm able. The car runs as expected. I checked it yesterday and today while testing, so providing the car runs well, there is only one thing to remain: I should also go well..." said before the last race the third driver of the Křenek Motorsport team, Jaromír Štádler, giving a smile.
