- 10. 5. 2014, Slovakia Ring, Slovakia -

The Saturday's programme on the Slovakia Ring began for the FIA ETCC racing drivers before 10.00 a.m. with another free practice session. The Křenek Motorsport team's drivers Petr Fulín and Michal Matějovský had clocked the 2:15.947 and 2:17.742 times so finished in the second and third places in the S2000 category. The fastest driver in the morning practice was Kiss in Alfa Romeo, Hungary, who set the time 2:14.654.

The Q in the afternoon saw the results alike. Petr Fulín, who had entered also the Qualifying Session in the FIA WTCC, set his fastest time at 2:15.077 and would finish in the second place. Setting the 2:16.169 time, Michal Matějovský took the third place in his category. The fastest driver in the S2000 category was a Hungarian driver Kiss in his Alfa Romeo 2000.

Petr Fulín: "Unlike Kiss, we had to have a car as heavier as 52kg, which is a good deal. Although we'd set the qualifying record, it wasn't enough to beat Kiss. However, in the perspective of all championship I feel satisfied as I clocked better times than last year."

Michal Matějovský: "We'd been having a bit of problem with gear electronics since the beginning of the weekend, however, we managed to mend it before Q. As early as at the beginning of Q I made get behind a rival to take advantage of drafting, therefore I clocked a pretty good time in first lap. Slovakia Ring is a fast and hard track where a slipstream means a big advantage. I'm happy the car ran perfectly in the timed practice, so my thanks go to all team. The weather forecast predicts showers for tomorrow, nevertheless, I do believe that it won't scare off a great deal of fans, and we'll be enjoying two perfect races".
