CZECHOSLOVAK MOTORSPORT IN 2014

ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT a.s. HRADEC KRÁLOVÉ Continues Circuit Racing with Both Regular Drivers, Michal Matějovský and Jiří Forman.

Based on prior experience gained in previous seasons, an automobile racing driver, Michal Matějovský, and his management have decided to go on in all FIA European Touring Car Cup rounds in 2014, so continue the 2013 success, when Michal had been among the five best drivers in Europe, and together with Petr Fulín got a gold in the Nations’ Cup. Driving his BMW 320si Matějovský, as well as Fulín going for the Krenek Motorsport team have a clear aim: to get the podium finish in the single trophy total standings, and to defend the victory for the Czech Republic in the Nations’ Cup.

What awaits Matějovský after gearing in winter is the first testing in his new BMW 320si on the circuit at Spa-Francorschamps, Belgium, where one round of this year’s series FIA ETCC is held this year as well. This year’s FIA ETCC programme consists of five rounds:

The driver coming from the city of Hradec Králové is going to cooperate with the team Buggyra from Roudnice. They began working together in 2012 by Matějovský’s two successful starts (Most, Czech Republic; Jarama, Spain); last year he entered the race on the circuit in Most within the FIA ETRC 2013. This year, he is going to be engaged as a test and substitute driver.
