Svoboda Tatra Team Going To Rally Baja Deutschland in Germany

Giving a great performance at the MT Rally, Poland, (video: MT Rally Polsko) a month ago, the Svoboda Tatra Team are now getting ready for another oncoming event, the Baja Deutschland rally held in Germany. "Both cars - "Dakar" Tatra 815 4x4 and Tatra Jamal are in good condition again. We've mended Jamal, and made a couple of minor changes, so everything is slowly getting ready for a German rally held on 29th to 31st May 2014," was the team boss, Václav Svoboda's evaluation of the preparation for the forthcoming event in Germany.

BAJA DEUTSCHLAND (www.baja-deutschland.de) is a competition that includes two special timed, six-hour stages following an itinerary, which combined with the art as to navigating among single CPs (check-points) is ultimately decisive for who is going to win or fail. The Rally is held in harsh terrain that is part of an operating open-pit mine situated close to Leipzig. The first of the stages (WP 1) is held on the Friday afternoon, 30th May, the second (WP 2) on Saturday 31st May 2014 at the same time.
