Famous SPA Awaits Křenek Motorsport Team's Drivers

- 19. 6. 2014, Prague, CZE -

Today, the Prague's team Křenek Motorsport and the racing drivers Petr Fulín and Michal Matějovský are leaving for a famous track at Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. The circuit, 7,003 meters in length, hosts this year's last but one round of the FIA ETCC over the weekend, and the ETCC drivers are going to race on the track laying close to the Ardennes first in their racing career.

Fulín and Matějovský visited Spa at the beginning of this season for a pre-season test, so they would like to take advantage of experience they gained there. Taking the first and second places in S2000 category standings at the moment, the drivers are going to secure their positions. Let us remind that scored points will double in the races in Pergusa, Italy, where the last round takes place at the end of September. That means, than any Belgian point will worth its weight in gold.

Petr Fulín: "As to me, I rate Spa as the nicest track in the calendar. It's a technical one, situated in lovely environment, with perfect history. It'll be my rookie race there, nevertheless, I believe that a technical profile with an interesting superelevation will fit me more than flat Salzburgring. I'm setting off for Belgium feeling keyed up, and first of all I'm gonna enjoy it."

Michal Matějovský: "I'm feeling fine before leaving, I'm most likely to take a good place in the standings, and I'm gonna do all my best to go on to give good performance, and to keep - if not strengthen our leading position in the championship in our class. I had a bit of practice in Spa in spring, and got fairly familiar with the track. What's more, I've recently had possibility to test on the professional Motorsport simulator in Hradec Králové so brush the circuit up before races. However, testing, qualifying and live race is about something else, and it's exactly what I'm looking forward to. The car's gone a thorough check and tuning. I know it is OK, so we're leaving feeling calm."
