Matějovský with Buggyra Testing in Most

- 15. 8. 2014, Most, CZE -

Within a fortnight, the city of Most will witness roaring engines of monster trucks that are gathering there again for another round of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship 2014. This is the reason for the Buggyra stable's technical equipment to appear on the Most's racing circuit. Besides an old-hand double champion of Europe, David Vršecký, it was also Michal Matějovský, the team's test driver, who had arrived there to test, likewise another racing driver, Miroslav Forman, who also tried his hand at a drive in racing truck. Interested in the test sessions of the Buggyra team was also Jiří Forman's junior.

Apart from this stable from the town of Roudnice it was competitors, like Jochen Hahn, taking the third place in the FIA ETRC 2014 standings at the moment, and his teammate René Reinert, who have arrived there to test their vehicles. Coming there to watch the Buggyra team's testing were also some of the VIPs, such as important personalities from the Hradec Králové Region: the director of the Faculty Hospital in Hradec Králové, Doc. MUDr. Roman Prymula, CSc., and his assistant, prof. MUDr. Jaroslav Malý, CSc., both Hradec Králové's nominees for this year's supplementary senate elections. The Buggyra team was also visited by the new general manager of the Autodrom in Most, Michal Rýdl.

It was sunny during the tests until the afternoon, but then the weather broke, and the visitors had to brave the heavy showers. The Buggyra team mostly devoted themselves to chassis components. "I feel satisfied with tests. We tried a few new things that we're analysing at the moment, and then we'll decide whether to use them or not. Besides us, there were also Hanh and Reinert in Most so we could match their skills. It seems, like in spring, that it's gonna be tight; naturally, we don't know what our rivals tested here. In the afternoon, there was a shower, therefore we were also driving on the wet. It's a home race that awaits us in a fortnight, and I do hope we'll do our bests to get maximum," David Vršecký said after tests, then Michal Matějovský added: "I'd like to spend my time before the race on the final truck-tuning tests. We gave a try to a few novelties. Today's test data will undoubtedly help us to find correct adjustment for live races. I'm glad the significant doctors from Hradec Králové put their time into a journey to Most to watch us, and had chance to see our technical equipment - and gave it a go too..."
