Qualifying Comes Out Well for Matėjovský

- 19. 9. 2015, Zolder, Belgium -

Following in the good performance after Friday's free practice session during the important Qualifying on Saturday afternoon, Michal Matėjovský had set the second fastest time 1:46.309 in the morning thirty-minute practice. However, the thing that was going to be the most important was the Qualifying in the afternoon, where Matėjovský would win the Pole Position in class TC2 like he had in Hungary, Slovakia, France and the home field. The time 1:43.446 means excellent sixth position on the start grid for Sunday's race.

"I'd evaluate the day positively. It was strategy that played the role; we had expected rain so we went to the track as early as possible. Another strategy choice was fitting used tyres, which allows us to fit a new set in both races tomorrow. To take it overall, it' come out perfectly today; I went two laps only, setting the fastest time in the second, despite the fact that a pretty slow Fiesta stood in my way on the track... Then it started raining. I'm happy about another Pole Position in TC2, especially because the track like Zolder is definitely hard. I'm looking forward to races tomorrow," said Michal Matėjovský after the Q.

Races on Sunday are scheduled for 12:50 p.m and 3:05 p.m.
