The Brno Circuit saw the penultimate racing event of this year of the International Championship of the Czech Republic (MMČR). Also involved were our racing drivers. Michal Matějovský joined Vladimír Hybáček and Petr Koláček, of Slovakia, to form a Czech-Slovak international crew. The three of them were taking turns at the wheel of a Seat Leon TDI of the Seat Sport Slovakia team. In the qualifying, Michal clocked the best time in his category, suggesting that the Seat TDI is to be taken into account.

'This is a new, unused car and we have, once again, approached the entire racing event as a test. The car has been subjected to maximum load so that possible faults might be detected,' said Michal Matějovský, who is leaving this week for Monza, Italy, to prepare for the final racing event of the 2008 SEAT Leon EuroCup series. The two Slovak drivers, who were excited about the car's driving quality, performed steadily, and the entire team came seventh in their category, after a minor fault in the car emerged. 'The experience that we have gained will be utilized in the preparation for the next season. The car, moreover, will be fitted with a more powerful engine and a new gear box. I believe that we will be able to contest a top placing in our category in the 2009 season,' added Vladimír Hybáček.

The team's drivers Miroslav Forman and Stanislav Lepka contested this racing event with an Alfa Romeo 147 under the colours of the Scuderia C'EST LA VIE team and, after coming third in the qualifying, claimed an excellent third place in their category of the three-hour race. 'My top priority for this season was to defend my title of the Champion of the Czech Republic. This task was accomplished already at the previous racing event. So, this race was an agreeable conclusion of this year's successful season of the International Championship of the Czech Republic,' said Miroslav Forman.
