Matějovský to take part in the official WTCC testing event on Thursday

On Thursday, 12 June 2008, Michal Matějovský, along with all the other racing drivers of the WTCC series, will be able to try the new tarmac of the Brno circuit track in an official testing event prepared by the series' promoter, the KSO. The first stage of the testing is scheduled for the period from 9:00 to 13:00, the second one, from 14:00 to 18:00.

In the course of the lunch break, a press conference will be held in the Automotodrom Brno company's V.I.P. lounge. This event is to feature Ivana Ulmanová, the executive director of the company Automotodrom Brno, Miroslav Bartoš, the sports director of the company Automotodrom Brno, Michal Matějovský, the Czech Republic's only driver contesting this FIA WTCC racing event, Marcello Lotti, a representative of the KSO, promoter of the WTCC series, Nicola Larini, driver of the Chevrolet team, Félix Porteiro, driver of the BMW team, James Thompson, driver of the Honda team, and Jaime Puig, a representative of the SEAT team.

Just before the testing with the WTCC car, Michal Matějovský can be seen at an interesting promotional event. That is, he will compete, in a kart race, with Karel Abraham, a rider of the 250cc category of the Grand Prix motorcycling championship. The race of the two contestants will start at 12.00 on Wednesday, 11 June 2008, on the minibike track of the Automotodrom Brno racing circuit.
