ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT to cooperate with Vekra Racing Team

The company ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT a.s. and the young, ambitious Vekra Racing Team will cooperate, under the common name 'Vekra CSMS Racing Team', in organizing certain sports projects and client events.

'We have been working together with the Vekra Racing Team for a longer period of time. This year, our activities have developed into an active alliance, which will allow us to cooperate in staging client events and, in particular, to focus on the Tourenwagen Challenge racing circuit series and on the prestigious Česká pojišťovna - Škoda Octavia Cup (ČPŠOC). The ČPŠOC will be contested by six drivers under our colours. That is, Petr Fulín, Daniel Skalický, Tadeáš Martínek, Tiki S. Ivoševič and M. Lisowski will be able to make good use of the wealth of experience of the two teams. This combined know-how will certainly allow our drivers to aim for this year's titles both in the teams' and drivers' categories. Michal Matějovský, due to his engagement abroad, will only take part in three races; the rest of this series will be contested by Laura Hájková, who will take over from him. The first testing took place at the Autodrom Most Circuit on 27 February. We assume that another testing event will be held within the period of March and April, at one of the racing circuits abroad,' Stanislav Matějovský, the ČESKOSLOVENSKÝ MOTORSPORT a.s. company's general manager, said in explanation of the company's strategy for this year.
