The VEKRA CSMS Racing Team is performing another test series
The VEKRA-CSMS Racing Team's large line-up undertook another test series, this time at the Lausitzring circuit in Germany. This testing event was also attended by Michal Matějovský. On the first day of the three-day testing event, he explained: 'Due to the tests with the SEAT cars at the Oschersleben circuit, I was not able to take part in the team's previous testing event in Poznań two weeks ago.' And, Michal Matějovský went on: 'Both in Poznań and at Oschersleben, the cold weather, even with occasional snowfalls, was extremely adverse, not appropriate for testing. This time, however, the conditions are much better. The temperature of about 18°C is ideal for all tests of the set-up, and the conditions do not differ much from those we usually encounter at races. I am satisfied.'
The VEKRA-ČSMS Racing Team also invited Laura Hájková, Dan Skalický, Tiki Ivoševič, Tadeáš Martínek and, for the first time, Mateusz Lisowski, of Poland, to join in the testing. The working activities of all those involved were directed by Petr Fulín, the team's manager and experienced racing driver. At the end of the first day of the testing, he said: 'The track here is excellent and the conditions are almost ideal for testing. In the course of the day, I was pleasantly surprised to see the fine performance of Mateusz Lisowski, of Poland, who will join our team this year. His lap times suggest that he will rank among the top drivers of the Cup races. The other drivers, however, do not fall behind and are gradually improving.'
